Cancellation Policy
📋 Sound Choice Events – Booking & Cancellation Policy 1. Booking & Deposit A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package price is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event (or day-of, if you prefer flexibility at the start). 2. Cancellations by Client If cancelled more than 60 days before the event: deposit is retained, but no further payment required. If cancelled 30–60 days before: deposit is retained, and 50% of the balance is owed. If cancelled less than 30 days before: deposit is retained, and full balance is owed (since you likely can’t rebook that date). 3. Rescheduling One date change is allowed free of charge (if you’re available). Additional changes may incur a $100 admin fee. 4. Cancellations by DJ (protects you if you get sick or equipment fails) If Sound Choice Events must cancel due to illness, emergency, or equipment failure, a full refund of all payments (including deposit) will be issued. Whenever possible, we will also assist in finding a replacement DJ. 5. Weather & Force Majeure If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather, natural disaster, or events beyond either party’s control, the deposit remains non-refundable, but rescheduling will be prioritized. 6. Overtime Requests Overtime is billed at $150/hour (depending on package). Must be approved at the event.
